We offer secure, private parking at the Knight Residence by Mansley (fees apply).

Check-in is guaranteed from 4:00pm. Early check-in may be possible, depending on availability, and a small fee applies. If your apartment is not ready when you arrive, we can store your luggage for you (fees apply) so you can explore the city.
Please note: Inverness has no reception, so luggage storage must be arranged in advance

Apartments should be vacated by 10.00am, on the day of departure; this is in order for our Housekeeping Team to fully service the apartment for the next arrival. Subject to availability, we can extend this time until 1pm however this is does incur a nominal fee. We are more than happy to look after your luggage if you are not leaving the city until later on during the day (Fees may apply)

Nearest bus station

The nearest bus station is Edinburgh Bus Station, just off St Andrew Square. This is the main bus station for services such as National Express, Megabus, FlixBus and some Rabbie’s Tours. All operators recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before departure.
Airlink buses to Edinburgh Airport leave from outside TK Maxx on St Andrew Square. Trams also stop on St Andrew Square and along Princes Street.

Nearest train station

Waverley Station is the main train station in Edinburgh City Centre and the one most guests use. It is about 0.8 miles from The Knight Residence, roughly a 17-minute walk, mostly uphill. Because of this, we recommend taking a taxi if you have heavy luggage.

Which is the nearest airport to me?

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, around 8 miles from the property. Guests usually choose from several easy transport options:

• Taxi: Available from the airport taxi rank and takes you directly to the Knight Residence.
• Airlink 100 bus: Leaves from outside the arrivals terminal and stops on Princes Street and St Andrew Square (outside TK Maxx).
• Tram: Departs from outside the arrivals terminal and stops on Princes Street and St Andrew Square.

From these bus and tram stops, it is about a 15-minute walk up Lothian Road to the property.

Edinburgh Airport is the only airport in Edinburgh and is located around 8 miles away from our property. There are several options when it comes to travelling too and from the airport to the Knight Residence, our guests tend to use the variety of options to reach us to start their stay. You can get an airport taxi from the taxi rank at the airport which will bring you directly to our property, alternatively there is an Airlink 100 bus that takes you from the bus stops outside the arrivals terminal at the airport which will drop you on Princes Street or to St Andrews Square outside of TKMAXX, you can also get the Airlink back to the airport from the same stops. Another alternative is the tram which again can be caught from outside the arrivals terminal at the airport and this drops you off on Princes Street or St Andrews Square. From the bus and tram stops it is around a 15 minute walk up Lothian Road to the property.
