Terms and Conditions

  • Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Mansley Serviced Apartments Ltd (“Mansley”), whose registered office is 219 Earls Court Road, London SW5 9BN.
  • This competition is operated in support of Marie Curie. Marie Curie is not the promoter and is not responsible for the administration of the competition.
  • Competition Period: The competition opens at 00:01 on 15 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 16 October 2026 (“Competition Period”).
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.

Eligibility — the competition is open to:

  • Guests: Guests aged 18 years or over staying at a Mansley property during the Competition Period.
  • Friends & Family of Mansley: Individuals aged 18 years or over who are friends or family members of current Mansley employees and who provide the name of their Mansley contact when entering.
  • Only one prize winner will be selected from each competition version unless otherwise stated.

How to Enter: Entrants may enter by:

Donation Route: Making a donation via the official Marie Curie fundraising page using the QR code displayed on promotional materials, and providing their name and a suggested name for the Mansley bear.

OR

Free Entry Route: Entrants may enter free of charge by emailing [email protected], with:

  • Full name;
  • Booking reference;
  • Suggested name for the bear; and
  • Subject line: “Marie Curie Bear Competition Entry”.
  • No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win. Making a donation will not increase the chances of winning.
  • All valid entries have an equal chance of success.

Donations

  • Donations are entirely voluntary. The suggested donation amount is £2.00, however entrants may donate any amount or choose to use the free entry route.
  • All donations received through the fundraising page will be donated to Marie Curie in accordance with the fundraising platform’s terms.
  • Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.

Prize

  • The prize is: one Mansley charity bear soft toy featuring the winning name selected from eligible entries.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available.
  • Mansley reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

Winner Selection

  • All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be entered into a random draw.
  • The winner will be selected randomly under the supervision of the Mansley Charity Committee within 14 days of the competition closing date. The draw process and outcome will be recorded.

Notification of Winners

  • The winner will be contacted within 14 days of the draw using the contact details provided.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 14 days, or is found to be ineligible, Mansley reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  • For guest winners, the prize will be posted to the address associated with the booking unless an alternative delivery arrangement is agreed.
  • For friends and family winners, the prize may be provided to the named Mansley contact for onward collection.

Data Protection

  • Mansley will process personal information solely for the administration of this competition and prize fulfilment in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for competition administration, auditing and legal compliance purposes.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mansley shall not be liable for:

  • Lost, delayed, incomplete or corrupted entries;
  • Technical failures affecting participation;
  • Circumstances beyond its reasonable control that prevent the competition from operating as planned.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Right to Cancel or Amend

  • Mansley reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, provided any changes are fair and communicated appropriately.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
