Sensory Aids
We recognise that  being away from home can feel overwhelming for some.
This is why at Mansley Serviced Apartments we offer complimentary ‘sensory aids’ – if you, or someone in your party, could benefit from an SEN toy, such as fidget spinners or ear defenders, you can borrow one from Reception free-of-charge, for the length of your stay. Please remember – if you choose to borrow a toy, kindly leave it behind in your apartment before you check out, so that it can be cleaned and made available for other guests to benefit from.

10 Curzon Street by Mansley

  • There are two steps between the street level and the entrance to the property.
  • No lift facilities at this property
  • Narrow staircase (approximate width 85cm)
  • Emergency lights on each floor in case of a power outage.
  • Fire exits only through the staircase leading to the main road.

44 Curzon Street by Mansley

  • The entrance front door has six steps from the street to reception (no ramp available for persons with a disability).
  • The lift is accessible to all the building stages (basement included). Maximum capacity of 3 persons; maximum weight 225 kgs (480 lbs). Narrow lift (96cm length * 76cm width approximately), recommended for only two persons per journey.
  • The lift has no self-closing doors; this must be done by guests and staff after reaching their destination.
  • Narrow staircase (width 80 cm approximately) with lights on each floor and in between to guide guests and staff.
  • Emergency lights on each floor in case of a power outage.
  • An emergency ladder on the basement workshop leads to the main road.

Braid Apartments by Mansley

  • The entrance front door has 3 steps from the street to reception (no ramp available for persons with a disability).
  • Lift is not accessible to all the building stages. 12 Steps from the front door to the lift, (basement and apt 1,2,3,4 stairs access only (21 steps) ).
  • Maximum capacity of 8 persons; maximum weight 630 kgs Narrow lift (1.40m length * 1.1m width approximately)
  • Narrow staircase (width of 80cm approximately) with lights on each floor and in between to guide guests and staff.
  • Fire exits only through the staircase leading to the main road.
  • Emergency lights on each floor in case of a power outage.
  • An emergency ladder on the basement workshop leading to the main road

Highland Apartments by Mansley

  • Self-check-in property – no one on-site to assist after 5 pm (if notified prior to arrival we can arrange for a manager to be on-site to assist if need be).
  • 2 steps from the basement car park to lift.
  • The lift goes to all floors.
  • Apartments are not disability friendly – shower over bath, bathrooms not large enough for wheelchairs, no rails, or handlebars, narrow corridors.

No.1 The Mansions by Mansley

  • The front door and side door have three steps from the main road to the lobby (no ramp available for persons with a disability).
  • Lift and stair access to the fifth floor
  • The sixth floor leading to apartments 9, 10 and 15 (left wing) and 11, 12, 13 and 14 (right wing) are only accessible by a staircase (12 steps).
  • The lift has no self-closing doors; this must be done by guests and staff after reaching their destination.
  • No lift facilities for apartments on the side of Bramham Gardens (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E), guests staying on this side of the building can use the lift to the fifth floor coming from the front door.

Strozzi Palace Suites by Mansley

  • The entrance to the front door has 1 step from the street to reception (no ramp available for persons with a disability).
  • The property is only accessible via the door code entry system.
  • All suites are accessible via a door code entry system.
  • The property is stair access only – No lift. 3 Suites per floor (Max 2 floors)
  • Wide staircase (Width 100cm) with sensor lights to 1st floor landing to guide guests and staff.
  • A further 3 steps to landing towards the Amalfi, Milano and Napoli Suites, with sensor lights to guide staff and guests.
  • 1 step from the 1st floor landing to the staircase to the 2nd floor (Width 100cm) with sensor lights to guide staff and guests.
  • A further 1 step from the 2nd floor landing to the Palermo, Siena and Tuscany suite with sensor lights to guide staff and guests.
  • Emergency lights on each floor in case of a power outage.
  • The fire exit is via the main entrance door.

The Knight Residence by Mansley

  • The entrance front door has steps from the street to reception (no ramp available for persons with a disability).
  • Narrow staircase (approximate width 85cm)
  • Lift access to and from the car park.
  • Lift is accessible to all the apartments in the buildings. Maximum capacity of 8 persons; maximum weight 630kg Narrow lift (1.40m length * 1.10m width approximately),
  • High Riggs buildings – access by stairs and lift (narrow corridor and staircase)
  • Emergency lights on each floor in case of a power outage.
  • Fire exits only through the staircase (the lift is not to be used in case of a fire) leading to the assembly point (car park)
