Natural Beauty

There are officially 46 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England. Cheltenham is lucky enough to have three of them in close proximity.
Just to the east and south of the town you have the famous Cotswolds. Home to picture perfect villages and stunning rolling countryside. One of the most famous villages of them all, Bourton-on-the-Water is only a 25 minute drive from Strozzi Palace.
To the north there are the impressive Malvern Hills. A hike up British Camp Hill will reward you with stunning views across the region. British Camp Hill is a 40 minute drive from Strozzi Palace.
A bit further out to the west we find the Wye Valley. This rural retreat offers some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Britain. As well as dramatic scenery and wonderful wildlife you can also expect to find plenty of outdoor adventures to keep the whole family entertained.
