Edinburgh does not have a cycle hire scheme so in order to enjoy Edinburgh by pedal power you will need to bring your own bike or arrange private hire.

Edinburgh is a great, but hilly, city to be able to explore by bike. Whether it be enjoying traffic free weekends in Holyrood Park or taking advantage of the cycle paths along the Grand Union Canal and Water of Leith taking you traffic free, via the quirky Colinton Tunnel all the way to Balerno, the gateway to the Pentland Hills.
