Scotland has 40 National Scenic Areas which cover 13% of the land. It will come as no surprise that the Highlands region dominates with no less than 16 different Nation Scenic Areas.

With so many to choose from you just need to get out there and explore! Will it be the Cairngorm Mountains, the Glenfinnan Viaduct on the shores of the majestic Loch Shiel or Assynt-Coigach which covers the largest area of the National Scenic Areas.

The Highlands are made for adventure. With so much to see in this area you might just have to come back another time to fit it all in!
